As of August 26, 2026, I’m spending all my time on these things:
- Raising 6 kids (19, 16.5, 14, 11, 8.5, and 4.5) and trying to stay sane (family blog); the oldest is studying at Brigham Young University and will be serving an 18-month LDS mission in Hanoi, Vietnam starting in September; the others are all at home
- Living in Doha and working as an assistant professor of international politics and policy at Georgetown University in Qatar
- Researching anti-NGO restrictions, human rights, and statistical methods for nonprofit and public administration
- Teaching quantitative methods for international relations at Georgetown University in Qatar
- Working as an occasional data science mentor for Posit Academy
- Reading some sort of religiously themed text every day (books)
