As of April 14, 2026, I’m spending all my time on these things:
- Raising 6 kids (18, 16, 13, 10.5, 8, and 4) and trying to stay sane (family blog); the oldest is studying at Brigham Young University; the others are all at home
- Living in Atlanta and working as an assistant professor in the Department of Public Management and Policy at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University
- Researching anti-NGO restrictions, human rights, and statistical methods for nonprofit and public administration
- Teaching data visualization, program evaluation, comparative public administration, nonprofit management, and microeconomics at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University
- Working as a part time data science mentor for Posit Academy
- Reading some sort of religiously themed text every day (books)
